Daniel Oberpriller has a knack for recognizing a property’s inherent value while envisioning the potential for change. That knack, along with 17 years of real estate experience as an agent and a broker, is just one reason that CPM Companies has become the fastest-growing real-estate firm in the Twin Cities since its inception in 2005. In a career defined by rapid success, Daniel considers his greatest accomplishments to be the relationships he’s formed along the way—not least his partnership with CPM cofounder Nick Walton. Daniel loves skiing, his golden retriever, old Chevys, and making deals alongside his lifelong pal.
Nick Walton is the financial mind behind CPM Companies. With a background in construction and finance, he is able to size up a project and secure underwriting with an accurate, realistic assessment of its viability. Gaining 17 years of finance, construction, and development experience working for Reuter Construction—which he later purchased, renaming it Reuter Walton Construction—Nick cofounded CPM Companies in 2005 with Daniel Oberpriller, his best friend since 7th grade. The company’s completed developments now exceed $250 million. When he takes a break from closing deals, Nick enjoys lake time with his family, fishing, and skiing.
